As another season gets under way, all the team at MGS are looking forward to welcoming all our clients this season, both returning regulars and those new to Val Cenis.

Conditions are very good and at the moment the village really does look like a postcard, although the forecast for the next few days is not great. Pistes have been well prepared and it has been a pleasure this week to ski on almost untouched grooves left by the bashers.

After a bright day today, tomorrow will see heavy cloud developing which unfortunately will bring rain to the whole of the Savoie, with the rain/snow line being as high as 2000m at times. This is expected to clear during Saturday and with the pistes almost empty, hopefully there will not be too adverse an effect. Sunday and Monday should be clear with cloud bringing weak snow as another depression moves through mid-week, before sunshine returns by Thursday.

Sad to have to mention the ‘R’ word above, but the rest of the week should be fine and with great skiing available it will be lovely to be celebrating Christmas here in Val Cenis with so many friendly faces, old and new.

Those of you travelling this weekend, have a safe trip and see you on Saturday!
