The resort consists of the two villages Lanslevillard and Lanslebourg, which are situated in the High Maurienne region of the Savoie, near the Italian border. Although this is not a place for "wild" apres-ski, the atmosphere in the village is friendly and welcoming.

These are communities where life goes on all the year round, not just in the ski season.
MGS SKI is based in the upper village, Lanslevillard, close to the main lifts and the piste front area.
It is not purpose built, but unspoilt and traditional, offering the chance of an authentic Alpine experience.
Val Cenis sits at the foot of predominantly North facing slopes, going up to 2800m, giving an excellent snow record.
Skiing is varied and interesting, often in beautiful scenery- this is definitely not a "motorway" resort!
As well as a range of inexpensive restaurants and local bars, there are two discos, two cinemas, ice skating rinks and a swimming pool.

Features such as Son et Lumieres and a weekly programme organised by MGS SKI give clients opportunities to socialise and enjoy themselves
There are shops and supermarkets in the village, and for families with younger chidren, full creche facilities are available.
Val Cenis is situated in a beautiful area and other mountain based
activities include snowshoe walks, cross country skiing and skidoo rides.
Adventurous types can ice climb, go on ski randonee trips, or parapente for a really SPECTACULAR view of the area!
